About Trilastin.

If there’s one thing that I don’t like about my body, that would be my stretch marks. I know with it came the birth of my beautiful baby. But then again, if I am given the means to get rid of it, I would surely agree in a heartbeat. I am a fan of anything natural, so before trying out the more drastic ways, I am looking into the natural and hopefully safer methods.

I read that applying vitamin E oil on the area can help. Coco butter is recommended as well. Diet can likewise contribute to healthy, stretch marks-free skin. Plenty of fruits and veggies are good for the skin, so they can somewhat help improve your skin. Other natural ways that are said to lessen the appearance of stretch marks are raw honey, lemon and even aloe vera.

But we have to accept the fact that the appearance of stretch marks likewise depends on one’s skin elasticity. They said that if your mom has those, chances are you are going to get them once you get pregnant. That’s why I know of pregnant ladies applying some lotion on their bellies during pregnancy. I never did that so here I am desperately seeking ways to get my old skin back. Laser or any other form of surgery is not an option for me, so aside from the home remedies; I am also looking into creams and lotions. The thing is there are tons of creams and lotions in the market. Choosing the best and safest one can be troublesome. Thank goodness I came across these trilastin reviews.

Shopping Mode.

Window shopping, that is. As if we have the money to spend, we might be braving the S&R sale once again this afternoon or this weekend. We were there on the first day and it was just too crowded. I saw a fellow TU mom there and she gladly offered me a spot in line to the cashier. However, it was really so hard to go through the items because of the crowd so I didn’t get any. But we are really planning on going again on later days when the crowd is thinner. We are just after the B1T1 toiletries anyway. Oh I did get something on the first day – a bag from their designer depot upstairs. While DH was browsing for trailer hitch and tires at the tire center, I decided to check items upstairs. So I got this.

0915

This is 30% off, I think. With tons of pockets! A huge requirement of mine. It has pockets on the sides too for my loose coins, and I can even hold a water bottle in there. My son’s baby haler can fit so nicely inside, too. Along with some toiletries and snacks and maybe even my netbook. Oh yes, this is a mommy bag.

On Shopping.

Sometimes I am tempted to unsubscribe to all the shopping and sale alerts blogs I am subscribed to. There are just too many good sales and tempting offers out there. Good thing I am not yet into sites that offer discounted dining treats, travel packages, etc. I received so many invitations from friends to register, but I decided that I don’t need those deals right now. Besides I am hearing some not-so-nice feedbacks from some of the stores/establishments offering such, like customers availing of the discounted packages are not given proper service, the staff is unaware of the promo they have, and more. I wonder though if some insurance companies are thinking of offering lower term life insurance rates, too. Maybe that one I will consider looking into.

Homeworld Sale.

I am looking forward to this sale. I got our bed and dining table from the sale a year or so ago from the sale. However, the trick is to be there when the sale opens as the place can get quite crowded, and thus canvassing and inspecting the furniture can be difficult. Our weekend is full though so I don’t know if I am going to make it to the sale. I badly want to get a round dining table. I haven’t been there in a while, I think they are putting up some metal buildings or are those multi-level parking spaces being built in front of the mall.

Anyway, the sale runs from Sept 16 to 18, 2011 at SM Megatrade Halls 1, 2 and 3.

Job Search.

Posted in Randomness by admin on September 2, 2011

After a fairly long wait, a cousin of mine can finally make good use of his college degree. He finished Nursing here and has been in the US for a while now processing his papers and stuff. Good thing his family is based there so there wasn’t really much changes. And since he can now legally apply for a job there, he is searching left and right for jobs in the health care industry I wish I can help him but I am not so familiar with healthcare-related jobs, Prosthetist Jobs included.
