random little things

I am surprised that I am able to browse for Veterinary Technician Jobs for minutes without glancing at the TV. To think Glee is playing right now. Am I losing my interest on it already?

I am afraid so. I even slept through one of its season 3 earlier episodes. I guess my interests are changing. I am liking more of the teen-suspense-drama series (even if I am way beyond my teens!) right now. Too bad, most of the series I am watching right now won’t be back till January next year. I can use Glee for some company.

It’s a holiday today. Too bad, I wasn’t able to make use of our free day to shop. Blame it on my tummy. I hope everything will be better tomorrow. I originally intended to go to the grocery today to get our snacks for the trip. Then I might visit the mall to get another pair of cropped pants, the exact same pants I bought last week. That’s me, whenever I find something that fits me well, I get at least two of those. Pants especially as it is hard to find a pair that fits my shape (or the absence of it, hehe) well. I would also have checked the north face jackets my cousin is telling me about. Oh well, at least I am saved from all the expenses.

I don’t think there’s a need for me to check out the other toy sales as I am almost done shopping for DS’ gifts. I am glad I was able to catch the last day of the Toys R Us sale in Alabang Town Center. I got most of the toys DS likes and some other little items in one stop. I had them wrapped in the store as well. Free for non-sale items, and twenty pesos for those on sale. This is the first time that I won’t be rushed shopping and wrapping gifts. Now I have all the time to get gifts for other relatives. I am looking into cigar auction online, hoping that I can score good deals from the auctions.

I came across a recent interview of the pregnant Jessica Simpson. She mentioned that she is craving for fruits, which is actually a healthy craving. She also said that it takes her a long time to get ready for bed as she religiously puts on various lotions and creams to avoid stretch marks. I could only wish that I was as determined as her when it comes to taking care of her skin. I have to admit that I never did anything to avoid such when I was pregnant. And only after giving birth did all my regrets came in.

Good thing there are still various remedies that I can try to get rid of these stretch marks. I read that aloe vera can treat stretch marks. It has plant collagen that is said to nourish the skin. It is also said that aromatherapy and essential oils are effective in treating stretch marks. Essential oils can help normalize skin color and texture, moisturize and rejuvenate and thereby eliminating stretch marks and even scars. You can use the the oils during massage or add to the water when taking a bath. Change of diet proves to be helpful as well. Drinking water, eating food rich in vitamins A, C and E and zinc are some of the recommended diet changes. Getting active is likewise one good way to help get rid of stretch marks. Do include sit-ups, crunches, walking and jogging to your daily activities.

But then again, not all of us may experience positive results with the above mentioned remedies. And this is where creams and lotions come in. Actually such creams can be used together with the above remedies. But of course, there are just tons of creams available in the market.

You just have to do more research to find the best stretch mark cream out there for you to achieve the best results. From what I read, Trilastin and Revitol are two of the best creams stretch marks removal cream available in the market.
